You set the agenda: In ‘Barcamp Teaching’, teachers and students can contribute their own topics, ideas and questions on a specific theme that they would like to discuss and develop further. In this open-format event, there are no fixed speakers, but rather a spontaneous and intensive exchange with a summary of the results at the end. You will be professionally supported by the academic teaching team.

Join in and gain new perspectives on teaching and learning!

  • How does a Barcamp work?
    • At the beginning, concerns and topics are collected in a plenary session.
    • Participants assign themselves to a topic that particularly interests them.
    • In small groups, participants exchange ideas on the topic and jointly develop possible solutions.
    • Finally, the small groups present their initial findings and solutions

Of course, you can also participate without contributing your own topic. All interested parties are welcome!

  • How you can benefit from Barcamp
    • You focus only on topics that are currently relevant to you.
    • You learn from your colleagues’ experiences and thereby enrich your own teaching practice.
    • You receive or provide innovative ideas for teaching and develop creative ideas together.
    • You find partners to collaborate with on new projects.
    • You set up topic-based working groups or interest groups based on the Barcamps.
    • You can have your participation credited towards your Pro Lehre certificate.
