Short Description
The Master’s programme Teacher Training Course for Technical Education for Single-subject Bachelor's Graduates (LBS-Sprint) is aimed at graduates of a Bachelor’s degree programme in the fields of food and nutritional sciences and enables a career change into teaching at vocational schools.
The aim of the programme is to impart subject-specific, didactic and vocational pedagogical skills for the planning, implementation, reflection and evaluation of action- and competence-oriented teaching and learning processes. The degree qualifies graduates to undertake the preparatory service for teaching at vocational schools.
Students deepen their knowledge of food science and acquire a specialised understanding of food processing technologies. Graduates are able to design lessons tailored to specific target groups in line with the ‘learning field’ concept, to use digital teaching and learning tools – including AI – professionally and to reflect critically on their use, as well as to develop and evaluate teaching and learning situations. Furthermore, they can link subject-specific content with practical vocational requirements and continuously adapt their pedagogical practice to new scientific and professional contexts.
Course Content
