  • Methodology

The program comprises three workshops and a specific internationalization project. Methodologically, the training course focuses on the practical aspects of internationalization, although the first module is primarily conceptual in nature. Participants are introduced to "good practice" examples from various countries around the world and apply the knowledge gained to their daily work at their own universities. Participation in this international dialogue helps enhance management skills and intercultural competence while raising awareness and deepening understanding of how internationalization processes evolve. Furthermore, participants have the opportunity to network globally and establish partnerships.

As part of the course, participants develop and work on their own internationalization project, tailored to their specific roles and their university's institutional goals. This practice-oriented work helps them define specific, realistic objectives, develop a strategic plan, set their own milestones, and document their tasks.

Throughout the learning process, participants receive ongoing guidance from mentors and peers to ensure the training is as individually tailored as possible. In addition, they are provided with preparatory reading and working materials that offer insight into conceptual issues. These materials also assist participants in reflecting on the individual or institutional status quo and their specific projects.
