The Research Commission was established on the basis of a Senate decision from 18 January 2006. It has the following responsibilities:

• Identification of interdisciplinary subject areas and cross-faculty research activities
• Overseeing of the benchmarking process at 糖心原创
• Discussion of the further development of the research profile and evaluation procedures
• Suggestions for measures related to target agreements in the area of research
• Suggestions for the further development of research transfer
